Regarding the selection of rotor pumps and pump selection
The price of the rotor pump is approximately several thousand to tens of thousands of yuan per unit
The price of rotor pumps is influenced by various factors, such as brand, category, specification, market, etc.
The key is still to learn the selection method.
In industrial production, centrifugal pumps account for about 80% of the total number of pumps, and rotor pumps account for about 10%. Therefore, users are generally familiar with and prefer centrifugal pumps.
This often leads to the use of centrifugal pumps in situations where they are not suitable.
Generally speaking, for the transportation of various liquids with different viscosities, rotor pumps have unparalleled advantages compared to other pumps. However, when transporting liquids, it is not only a matter of viscosity, but also often accompanied by high temperature, high pressure, and sometimes corrosive or containing solid particles.
Therefore, when selecting a rotor pump, the following requirements must be considered:
1) The flow rate of the conveyed liquid and the applicable range of viscosity for the selected pump.
2) For occasions with metering requirements, the selected pump has good performance stability when viscosity and other process conditions change.
3) The back pressure of the system and the pressure range of the selected pump.
4) Suction performance, suction performance at high viscosity.
5) High temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, etc.
6) Simple structure, easy to disassemble, clean, and maintain.
Huayou Machinery - Regarding the selection of rotor pumps, in addition, the properties of the liquid conveyed must also be considered when selecting the pump type:
For liquids lacking lubrication, it is required that the pump has a certain clearance or a smaller contact surface, because excessive friction and wear should be avoided under load, and liquids lacking lubrication cannot form an oil film.
For liquids containing grinding solids, consideration should be given when selecting the type to transport solid particles in the suspension without causing jamming or excessive wear.
For liquids with soft solid particles, when selecting a pump, it should be considered to have a gap suitable for such solid particles to avoid particle damage.
For liquids that are sensitive to shear stress, consideration should be given to the pump having a gentle action and preventing the liquid from being subjected to high local shear stress during selection. Usually choose a pump with a lower rotational speed.
For working conditions with high self suction height, it is necessary to choose the pump speed reasonably, as the speed of the rotor pump is directly proportional to cavitation.
